The **2024/25 NHS Pay Rise in England ** has been announced as 5.5% across all NHS bands. It is not yet formalised. We have calculated the gross and NHS net pay difference. This page details the increase from the 2024/25 proposed 5.5% NHS Pay rise. All figures are estimated! As previous years all back pay will be backdated back to the 1st April 2024.

The hourly rates below will be updated once the payrise has been confirmed.

The table below lists the NHS Band, salary, gross and net hourly rates (amount per hour). The 24/25 pay rise have been included so all calculations are based on original **2023/2024 salaries**. Calculations include new Pension rates that came into force on 1st April 2024.

NHS hourly rates are calculated by dividing the total salary by 1,950 hours. The net (take home) hourly rate is calculated by dividing the total net (take home pay) by 1,950 hours. All calculations are based on full time hours of 37.5 a week.
