NHS London Weighting Salary 2024/2025

Due to the expense of living in London, NHS staff that live in central London are entitled to 20% uplift of pay. This is called NHS London Weighting. Staff working just outside London are entitled to a 15% uplift and those that work in the fringe zone are entitled to a 5% uplift.

Figures below are salaries for the 2024/2025 financial year. No NHS pay rise has been announced, so the figures are based on last years pay scales (2023/2024). In brackets is the NHS monthly net pay after Tax, Pension and NI is taken away (£Net Pay).

Note: Additional payments are not standard. There are minimum and maximum values applied:
